 A MONTH ON ATTITUDE 

Attitude Week 4

When we are getting results we don’t like, we want to find someone or something to blame.  I know I do at times.  I don’t want it to be me that has caused my bad results, because then it becomes my responsibility to do something about it.  Yet our growth comes when we look at our circumstances and seek to find the lesson, then move towards changing the circumstances to get the results we want.

So the big question is... How do you change an attitude?

Last time we looked at the becoming aware of the attitude behind some of the results we don't like.

Action Step

Now let's look at the results we do want.

Think of a positive result that you want to have.  Lets use:

 I am on time for my appointments 

What thoughts would you have as a person that is on time?

I am always on time.  I focus on leaving on time.

What feelings would you have?

It feels good to be on time. I feel more relaxed when I leave with lots of time.

What action would you take to be on time?

I stop doing other things that usually make me late. I have everything ready to go.  I know where I am going and how long it will take.

Now it is your turn...
